VERIZON WIRELESS NAMES BRIGHTSTAR AUTHORIZED HANDSET DISTRIBUTOR TO INDEPENDENT AGENTS

Agreement Provides Verizon Wireless Authorized Agents With Additional Resource to Help Grow and Manage Their Business

October 10, 2005 – CHICAGO — Brightstar, a leading logistics and supply chain management company for the wireless industry, announced today that they have recently been named by Verizon Wireless as an authorized distributor to support authorized agents with Verizon Wireless approved handsets and data devices.

Through the program, Verizon Wireless authorized agents will now be able to obtain products from both Verizon Wireless’ existing e-commerce site and through Brightstar.
The appointment of Brightstar as an authorized agent was made to provide the agent marketplace with the opportunity for an additional source of Verizon Wireless tested and branded devices. To support this effort, Brightstar has partnered with many of Verizon Wireless’ leading handset manufacturers.
