GIANT HAS SIGNED GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH BRIGHTSTAR
November 13, 2007 – 3GSM Asia – Macau – Hong Kong-based Giant Electronics Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary of Giant Wireless Technology Limited, a leading wireless technology creation company specializing in the design, manufacturing, marketing, global distribution, and brand management of quality wireless electronics products today announced Giant has signed a global distribution agreement with Brightstar, a global leader in customized distribution and supply chain solutions, to provide marketing, sales and distribution support of its HSDPA/HSPA data modems.
According to the terms of the agreement, Brightstar will have exclusive distribution of Giant’s data modems in parts of Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. In Latin America, Giant has assigned exclusive rights to Brightstar for key customers in a number of countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Central America and the Caribbean.
Giant’s data modems, which are marketed and sold under the brand name “Traveller”, are highly regarded as a world leading solution for high quality, low cost data devices. Data modems allow high-speed access to the Internet via a wireless connection so travellers can work as if they were in the office or at home.
According to Mike Tate, Brightstar’s global vice president of data centric devices, said “We have had great demand for Giant’s HSDPA/HSPA data modems in many of our most important markets. This agreement will further solidify our organization’s commitment to Giant’s products and allow us to extend our successful partnership to our customers throughout the world.”

The contract is for a three year time period.
