BRIGHTSTAR NAMED DISTRIBUTOR EXCLUSIVE OF GTRAN WIRELESS PRODUCTS IN LATIN AMERICA, MEXICO, AND THE CARIBBEAN
Miami, Florida – July 9, 2001 – Brightstar Corp., a leading distributor of wireless products and a provider of value-added services in the wireless telecommunications industry, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with GTRAN Wireless, Inc., a manufacturer of CDMA 1X and GPRS wireless data modems. Under the agreement, Brightstar will be the sole distributor of GTRAN’s products throughout Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
