BRIGHTSTAR EUROPE SIGNS UK FULFILLMENT AGREEMENT WITH LEBARA MOBILE
BASINGSTOKE, ENGLAND – 29 August, 2008 — Brightstar Europe has signed an agreement to provide end-to-end warehousing and supply chain services to mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Lebara Mobile in the UK.
Lebara provides a range of SIM cards to major retail stores, high street chains and independent retailers throughout the UK. The agreement enables the company to take full advantage of Brightstar’s state-of-the-art logistics capabilities to fulfill orders swiftly, accurately and cost-effectively.
Richard Baxendale UK Managing Director of Brightstar Europe, said that the agreement plays to the strengths of both companies. “Brightstar has access to some of the most advanced, state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facilities. This agreement enables us to make even better use of those resources and gives Lebara the ability to provide a highly proficient and consistent service to its major retailer and dealer customers in the UK.”
