BRIGHTSTAR CLOSES $500 MILLION SENIOR SECURED LOAN LED BY PNC

MIAMI – September 5, 2007— Brightstar Corp., a global leader in customized distribution and supply chain solutions for the wireless industry, announced they completed a $500 million senior secured credit facility led by PNC.

Brightstar will use the funds for working capital needs and to support expansion of its global activities. The new multi-year PNC-led syndication adds several new domestic and global banking relationships to
Brightstar.

Oscar Fumagali, Brightstar CFO, said, “This transaction is another milestone for Brightstar. And, with our recent private equity financing of $283 million with the Lindsay Goldberg Group, completes the required capitalization to support our current growth plans.”
